Silicon based OLED is a miniaturized OLED, but unlike traditional OLEDs that typically use glass or amorphous silicon as the substrate, silicon-based OLED uses single crystal silicon as the substrate, which integrates CMOS driving circuits, allowing the pixel size per unit area to be reduced to about 1/10 of traditional OLEDs, thereby achieving higher display accuracy. Silicon based OLED microdisplays are an innovation in display technology. Compared with liquid crystal microdisplays, they also have the characteristics of being thin and light, actively emitting light, having a wide viewing angle, high luminous efficiency, fast response speed, and low power consumption.
